Hansung Yoo was born in 1985 in Jeon-Ju (South Korea).

From 2004 to 2007 he studied classical voice/singing at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul with Prof. Hans Choi and finished his basic studies as a Bachelor of Music. He continued his education at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre from 2010 - 2012, where he attended the Masters program Operawith Prof. Carolyn James. Since October 2012 he has been taking part in the Postgraduate Course in Vocal Music, Lieder and Oratorio Singing of the UniversitywithProf. Carolyn James, in which he will be graduating with the Advanced Diploma in Opera.

Since 2006 Hansung Yoo has been participating in various opera productions: in 2006 as Papageno in "The Magic Flute" and in 2007 as Belcore in "L'elisir d'amore" at the Korea National University of Arts, in 2009 as Lord Sidney in "Il viaggio a Reims" and in 2010 as Count Almaviva in "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Robert Schumann School of Music and Media in Dusseldorf, in 2011 as Nanni in "L'… Read more
